Land Acknowledgement

The Sandbox Project and The Young Canadians Roundtable on Health recognize the history, strengths and diversity of Canada’s First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities. We are committed to engaging respectfully with Indigenous children, young people and families within and across nations in what is known as Turtle Island.

The Sandbox Project main office is located on the unceded and unsurrendered traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
